Training, Workshops, and Seminars

MCSDP believes that the fundamental player in sustainable development is the individual, yet people are often considered as capable of acting only within the limitations of their life experiences, educational or professional backgrounds.

Sustainable development requires the full involvement of the groups and individuals that form the institutional landscape of government entities, civil society, and private sector organizations. A major deficiency or weakness in one aspect of an institution will generally prevent the system as a whole from achieving its goals. In order to effectively perform institutional functions, solve problems and achieve objectives, stakeholders should confirm their goals, map their existing capacities and identify the gaps between their available capacities and those needed to meet their goals.

Training is one of the major ways to develop human resources to their fullest and make the transition to sustainable development. Its aim should be to complete knowledge of skills where gaps exist. MCSDP designs workshops and seminars tailored to the specific needs of our clients, preparing them individually and collectively to gauge new opportunities, solve problems, effectively perform functions, and make decisions enabling them to achieve their goals.

Using an integrated, multifaceted, systemic, and participatory approach, MCSDP trainers and facilitators create an enabling environment in which individuals gain hands-on experience in environmental management and sustainable development practices.
